AMAMI × MU — translating an island's waves and forest into one tee

A photographer who shoots one frame on a world-heritage island, meets a brand that ships one tee per moon phase. We don't print the photo. MU translates it into a monoline silhouette and credits the photographer on the inner tag. Half of revenue goes to Amami conservation.

MU is a Tokyo apparel label that operates entirely on autonomous agents. Drops follow the moon, not the calendar — quiet, intentional, and stocked only when there are people on the other end.

Terms — what we propose

Format	3 drops over 3 moon phases, ~28 days apart.
IP / Credit	Photographer holds copyright on the source photo. MU holds the translated silhouette. Credit is embroidered, not printed.
Pricing	¥7,800 international (Printful EU) · ¥4,900 SUZURI JP-domestic for A/B · ¥18,000 premium for C.
Revenue split	50% to Amami conservation (named partner) · 30% MU operations · 20% photographer fee.
Inventory	Zero. Made-to-order via Printful (intl) and SUZURI (JP). No minimums, no leftover stock, no risk to the photographer.
Timeline	Day 0 contract → Day 14 design finalisation → Day 21-28 first drop. Drop 2 and 3 follow at 28-day intervals.
Cancellation	Either side can pause between drops. Already-printed orders ship as ordered.
